BRAD COPES

FOUNDER 

Business Coach

Brad’s passion has always been teaching and coaching. He started an exterior painting business to pay his way through university, and fell in love with entrepreneurship, training, and leading employees. Small business became the outlet for his passion – the place where he could train, coach, and develop people. At the same time, he learned the real hard day-to-day challenges of managing a business: making payroll, negotiating with clients, and motivating staff.

His career after university started in the franchising world where he has experienced recruiting, training, and leading hundreds of franchise owners. He has managed large divisions and led corporate staff. He has experienced the real pressures of needing to deliver results. He was fortunate to work in a company that cared deeply about the success of franchise owners; and cared deeply about training and developing leaders.

Brad used the things he learned early in his career next building training programs and consulting with business owners in home services, construction, and manufacturing. Brad loves spending his days concocting systems and tools that can optimize a small business.

Bedrock Advising was born from Brad’s deep desire to provide approachable and affordable bespoke coaching, consulting, and training to small and medium sized businesses. Solutions tailored to what is needed, implemented in a way to get meaningful results today. And a dream that any small business, empowered with the things large corporations have when it comes to leadership training, coaching and systems – could make more money, it’s people can have more fun, and they can manage like seasoned executives. 

CHARLES KNOX

Business Coach

Charles Knox is an expert generalist with deep experience in business systems, leadership, and franchise operations. Over the past decade, he has coached and supported hundreds of entrepreneurs through roles at College Pro and WOW 1 DAY PAINTING, where he helps new business owners launch, lead, and grow with confidence.

Charles holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University and blends practical experience with a people-first coaching style. He’s passionate about helping leaders build strong habits, create effective systems, and unlock their full potential—professionally and personally.

SIMON NOËL

Business Coach

Simon is a business coach with extensive experience managing and growing construction companies. With a background in mechanical engineering, he began his entrepreneurial journey by founding and scaling a successful landscaping business. Simon then took on leadership roles in two major construction companies, where he implemented systems and strategies that significantly improved profitability, efficiency, and scalability.

Simon is passionate about helping businesses succeed. He’s all about simplifying processes, building leadership skills, and tackling tough challenges. By focusing on teamwork, streamlining operations, and finding hidden opportunities, Simon helps his clients achieve their goals and set themselves up for long-term success.

When he’s not working, you’ll find Simon enjoying the great outdoors in Vancouver with friends and family. Whether he’s running, skiing, or cycling, he loves staying active and making the most of his free time.

CHRIS GOW

Implementation Consultant

Chris is an implementation expert with a strong background in financial leadership, operations, and team development. A Chartered Professional Accountant, he has worked across public accounting, manufacturing, and retail leadership roles, helping organizations improve financial clarity, operational discipline, and overall performance. His experience spans everything from job costing and forecasting to leading large teams through periods of change and growth.

Chris is passionate about helping business owners build strong cultures and profitable, well-run companies. He focuses on developing leaders, creating accountability, and connecting day-to-day decisions to long-term financial outcomes. By combining practical execution with thoughtful support, Chris helps clients make meaningful changes that lead to sustainable success.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family on their farm, participating in the local basketball community, and staying active. He values balance, consistency, and continuous improvement, both in business and in life.
