BUSINESS COACH
Simon Noël
“I help business owners and leaders get clear on what they actually want, and build a practical path to make it happen.”
BEST FIT FOR: Owners of businesses who have built something successful, but are starting to feel the pressure and complexity that comes with growth. Ideally suited for businesses that have employees, customers, and opportunity, but too much still depends on the owner. I work best with people who want to build stronger teams, create accountability, understand their numbers, and turn their company into a high performing asset that doesn't require their constant attention.
ABOUT ME
I have spent most of my career working with and around business owners.
I started my first company while I was studying Engineering. After school, I sold the business and spent the better part of a decade building and operating service based companies. Eventually, I became General Manager of a landscaping and construction company with roughly 100 employees and approximately $12 million in annual revenue.
Throughout that time, I led organizational restructures, launched new divisions, helped expand into new territories, and worked with companies through serious cash flow and debt challenges.
That experience taught me that growing a business is rarely about finding one brilliant strategy or one incredible person. There is no silver bullet. More often, it is about getting a lot of practical things, and a lot of good people, working together.
My skillset is really twofold. First, I am naturally drawn to systems. I like understanding how each part of a company connects, and how individual people, processes, and decisions affect the business as a whole. Second, I believe strongly in servant leadership. The best systems in the world do not matter if the people around them do not understand them, believe in them, and take ownership of them.
Today, I help business owners do the same in their own companies.
My approach is practical and curious. I like getting underneath the surface of a problem, understanding how all the pieces connect, and figuring out what is actually getting in the way. I am endlessly curious about business, leadership, people, and why some companies seem to get better as they grow while others simply get busier.
Outside of work, you can usually find me outdoors with my wife. We love skiing, biking, hiking, travelling, and spending time with friends. We are always looking for ways to combine time outside with good food and good company.
What gets me most energized is helping business owners unlock their full potential and build the business and life they originally set out to create.
